Orthotic Bracing
Orthotic bracing involves the use of external devices to support, align, stabilize, or correct the function of the musculoskeletal system, particularly muscles, joints, and bones. These devices are designed to address a wide range of conditions, from injury recovery to managing chronic pain and improving mobility.
Knee Orthosis

A knee orthosis, commonly known as a knee brace, is a supportive device worn on the leg, extending above and below the knee joint. It's designed to provide support, stability, and pain relief for individuals with knee injuries or conditions. Knee orthoses can help correct alignment, limit or assist motion, and reduce stress on the knee joint.
Spinal (Back and Neck)

A spinal orthosis, also known as a back brace or cervical orthosis, are devices used to support or immobilize a specific region of the spine. These devices are designed to restrict movement, reduce pain, and help injuries heal, or to prevent progression of spinal deformities. They can be used both conservatively and post-operatively.
Ankle Foot Orthoses (AFO)

An ankle-foot orthosis (AFO) is a brace, typically made of plastic or carbon fiber, that is worn on the lower leg and foot to support and control ankle and foot movement. AFOs are used to address a variety of conditions, including foot drop, gait abnormalities, and ankle instability, by providing stability, alignment, and improved mobility.
Knee, Ankle, Foot Orthosis (KAFO)

A Knee-Ankle-Foot Orthosis (KAFO) is a type of orthotic device that provides support and stability to the knee, ankle, and foot. It's designed to help individuals with lower limb weakness or instability regain mobility and improve posture. KAFOs can be prescribed for various conditions, including neuromuscular disorders, spinal cord injuries, and post-stroke rehabilitation.
Hip Orthoses

Hip orthoses, also known as hip braces, are devices designed to support and stabilize the hip joint. They can be used to address various conditions, including hip dysplasia, post-operative recovery, and certain gait abnormalities.
Wrist and Hand

A wrist orthosis, also known as a wrist brace or splint, is a device used to support, protect, and stabilize the wrist joint. It can be used to manage various conditions, including injuries, arthritis, and nerve compression (carpal tunnel, as well as to aid in rehabilitation after surgery or trauma.
Shoulder

A shoulder brace is a supportive device, typically made of fabric or neoprene, that wraps around the shoulder and chest to provide stability, reduce pain, and aid in recovery from various shoulder injuries or conditions. It helps limit excessive movement, reduces the risk of further injury, and can be used for both preventative and rehabilitative purposes.
Foot Orthotics

Foot orthotics are medical devices designed to support and correct foot alignment and function. They are typically inserted into shoes and can provide various benefits, including, correction of foot deformities, pain relief, improved foot function and injury prevention.
Cranial Remolding Helmets

A cranial molding helmet, also known as a cranial remolding orthosis or band, is a device used to treat head shape deformities in infants. These helmets are typically prescribed for conditions like deformational plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome), brachycephaly, or scaphocephaly. The helmet works by gently guiding the infant's skull into a more symmetrical and rounded shape as the baby grows.
